Tap Guard collects nothing about you and cannot send anything anywhere. It has no internet access at all, so this is something your phone enforces, not something we are asking you to take on trust.
Nothing. There is no account, no sign in, no tracking and no ads. We never learn that you installed the app, and we certainly never learn what you do with it.
To put a shield over a button, Tap Guard has to know where that button is. Android only allows this through a setting called an accessibility service, which you switch on yourself and can switch off at any time.
The app uses it for two things:
It looks only while the app you are shielding is open, and only for long enough to place a shield. Nothing is saved, photographed or copied, and the app has no way to send anything anywhere regardless.
Your setup: the shields you made, what you named them, where you put them and which app each one belongs to. It sits in a private area of your phone that only Tap Guard can read, and it disappears when you uninstall the app.
Nobody. There is nothing to share.
Tap Guard asks for no permissions at all. No internet, no files, no camera, no microphone, no contacts, no location. The only thing it needs is the accessibility setting you turn on yourself, and turning it back off stops the app completely.
Tap Guard is not aimed at children, and collects nothing from anyone of any age.
Any update to this policy will be posted here with a new date. For the app to start collecting anything, it would need a new version asking for new access, and your phone would tell you before you installed it.
